The client is a division of a global FMCG сorporation and one of the leading brands in the infant nutrition market. The company works closely with doctors, research teams, and local partners and provides expert nutrition support to parents of children from ages 0 to 36 months and parents-to-be.
“It’s great to see the platform performing smoothly during the closed release phase and the positive engagement from the initial campaign. I’m confident that the upcoming follow-up campaign will build on this momentum and help us learn even more about user behavior and adoption. It’s inspiring to see how our combined efforts are creating a meaningful impact for parents.”
The client’s digital platform is highly centralized, relying on a shared codebase and a single repository for all markets. This created several LMS implementation challenges:
The client needed an LMS that could support its business goals within a centralized digital platform using a single codebase and repository across markets. This created several challenges:
Attico transformed the client’s vision into a secure, accessible, and fully customized learning platform designed to support parents at every stage of their journey. We selected Opigno to create a scalable platform aligned with the corporate design system and supporting personalized learning.
Our team turned the client’s LMS requirements into a secure, accessible, and scalable learning platform that supports rapid hypothesis testing, ongoing customization, and user growth without SaaS fees tied to registrations or user storage.
New Drupal LMS features move through three separate environments before becoming available to users. Development takes place in the development environment, while the client and QA team validate release candidates in pre-production. Only approved changes are deployed to production, preventing untested functionality from reaching learners.
Every production deployment follows a controlled, auditable runbook. Before each release, we create full backups and place the LMS into maintenance mode to prevent data loss. After deployment, engineers run mandatory smoke tests covering admin access, SSO, course enrollment, progress tracking, certification, and critical errors.
Attico extended Opigno through Drupal modules, allowing us to adapt learning flows and add functionality without rebuilding the LMS core. Granular roles and permissions give admins, editors, and managers the appropriate level of CMS access. This modular approach enables stable performance and simplifies future enhancements.
The LMS was launched on a subdomain within the client’s existing Drupal ecosystem. SSO allows existing website users to access the LMS without registering again and makes their profile data available to the learning platform. We also added direct access points through website banners, header links, and calls to action.
We use profile data synchronized through SSO, including users’ interests and professions, to recommend relevant training. Instead of showing the same course catalog to everyone, the LMS highlights content that better matches each user’s needs while keeping the personalization logic within the client-controlled Drupal ecosystem.
If you are looking to build a scalable LMS on Drupal, Attico’s specialists can help you validate your approach, customize the platform, and grow it with your business needs.
